Bio SAH ™ 342Liquid is used as an anti hydrolysis agent for PU, CPU, PLA/PBAT, and adhesives, with the following dosage and usage:
In PU synthetic leather slurry, the addition amount is 0.5-1.0 phr, directly added to polyols;
During CPU casting, it can be directly added to the prepolymer and stirred evenly; If using a casting machine for operation, slightly heat it up and directly add it to the mixing head using a metering pump, with a dosage of 1-2.5 phr of the prepolymer;
The amount used in the adhesive is approximately 1.0 to 2.0 phr of solid content;
Adding 0.5 to 2.0 phr in PLA/PBAT can improve hydrolysis resistance by 3-7 times.
hydrolysis is a common problem faced by many manufacturers in the shoe industry, particularly when it comes to water-based polyurethane (PU) systems. Hydrolysis is the process by which water molecules penetrate the PU matrix, causing the degradation of the material over time. This can lead to a decrease in the overall quality and durability of the shoe sole, ultimately affecting its performance.
Our Monomeric Carbodiimide offers an effective solution to combat hydrolysis in water-based PU systems. This unique agent works by chemically reacting with water molecules, forming a protective barrier on the surface of the PU matrix. This barrier effectively prevents water from penetrating the material, thus mitigating the risk of hydrolysis and increasing the longevity of the shoe sole.
One of the key advantages of our Monomeric Carbodiimide is its liquid form, which makes it highly soluble in the water-based shoe sole formulation. This attribute allows for easy and efficient integration into your existing manufacturing process. Additionally, its compatibility with other components commonly used in PU systems ensures a seamless incorporation, without compromising the final product's quality or performance.
We understand the importance of delivering high-quality and long-lasting shoe soles that surpass industry standards. Our Monomeric Carbodiimide not only enhances the overall durability of the shoe sole but also contributes to its resistance against water damage, thus providing a reliable solution to meet your customers' demands.
