Amine-HCA™ C3-LF is a high-performance latent reactive polyurethane chain extender, with 4,4'-Methylenedianiline sodium chloride complex dispersion as the core functional component (CAS NO.: 21646-20-8). Formulated with symmetric aromatic diamine and sodium chloride complex structure, it delivers unique temperature-triggered reactive characteristics, making it an ideal upgrade alternative to traditional MOCA curing agents for polyurethane manufacturing. It appears as a white to slightly yellow flowable suspension with a slight amine odor, and is fully compatible with various polyurethane prepolymer systems. This product is suitable for atmospheric pressure casting, pressure/injection molding, rotary casting, in-reactor impregnation and other molding processes, and fully complies with RoHS, REACH and other global environmental and safety regulations, providing a reliable, efficient and safe solution for high-end polyurethane product manufacturing.

Feature

  • Precision Latent Reaction Mechanism: Formed by symmetric aromatic diamine and sodium chloride complex, it exhibits almost no reactivity at room temperature. When heated to the specific deblocking temperature, the complex rapidly decomposes, releasing free diamine that reacts with prepolymers at an ultra-fast speed to form high-performance polyurethane elastomers, achieving precise control over the curing process.

  • Room-Temperature Processability: It is a liquid suspension with suitable viscosity (500-3000 mPa.s at 30℃), which can be directly and evenly mixed with polyurethane prepolymers at room temperature without pre-melting, eliminating the high-temperature preheating process required for traditional solid curing agents.

  • MOCA-Equivalent Curing Performance: Delivers vulcanization performance similar to MOCA, while providing an extremely long pot life. No gelation occurs when mixed with prepolymers without heating, which fully guarantees sufficient operation time for complex construction and molding processes.

  • Stable and Controllable Technical Indicators: Water content is controlled below 800ppm, solid content is approx. 44%, and amino equivalent is approx. 248 (subject to the COA of each batch). Strict batch-to-batch quality control ensures stable reactivity and consistent product performance.

  • Wide Process Adaptability: Perfectly adapts to atmospheric pressure casting, pressure or injection molding, rotary casting, in-reactor impregnation, microwave vulcanization and other molding technologies.
