Bio-SAH™ 362 Powder – Anti-Hydrolysis Agent

Bio-SAH™ 362 Powder is a monomeric carbodiimide compound that effectively prevents hydrolytic degradation in PU and engineering polymers. By reacting with carboxylic acids and water, it forms stable urea linkages, halting autocatalytic hydrolysis and extending the material's service life.


Applications:

-Thermoplastic Polyurethane (TPU): Enhances hydrolysis resistance, improving tensile strength and elongation under humid and high-temperature conditions.

-Polyester Polyurethane Adhesives: Prevents degradation, maintaining bond strength and durability in challenging environments.

-Single Component Sealant Systems: Ideal for moisture-curing polyurethane sealants used in construction and industrial assembly. The delayed reactivity allows easy mixing at room temperature and long pot life before application.

-Single Component Synthetic Leather Slurry: Used in the production of artificial leather, C3-LF ensures uniform polymer chain extension without premature crosslinking. This enables better surface finish and mechanical properties.
