Bio-SAH CA302 is a high-performance waterborne polycarbodiimide crosslinker that also functions as an efficient hydrolysis stabilizer. It is specifically designed for aqueous polymer systems such as waterborne acrylic emulsions and polyurethane dispersions (PUD). In these systems, exposure to moisture, heat, and chemicals can lead to hydrolytic degradation, reduced mechanical strength, poor surface durability, and weakened adhesion.

Bio-SAH CA302 contains reactive carbodiimide groups that can react with carboxyl groups in polymer chains, forming stable crosslinked structures. At the same time, these functional groups also react with carboxylic acid species generated during hydrolysis, effectively eliminating catalytic sites responsible for degradation. This dual mechanism not only strengthens the polymer network but also suppresses hydrolytic chain scission, resulting in improved long-term stability and performance.
Recommended dosage: typically 1.0% – 3.0% based on solid resin content
