Overview

MPET3613 is a high-performance anti-hydrolysis masterbatch specifically developed for polyethylene terephthalate (PET) systems. PET materials are widely used in fibers, films, and engineering applications, but they are susceptible to hydrolytic and thermal degradation during processing and long-term use. Moisture, heat, and acidic by-products can lead to polymer chain scission, resulting in reduced molecular weight, decreased intrinsic viscosity (IV), and deterioration of mechanical properties.

MPET3613 provides an effective and convenient solution by incorporating hydrolysis stabilization functionality into a masterbatch form. This allows for easy dosing, uniform dispersion, and consistent performance in industrial processing environments.

Processing & Dosage

  • Recommended dosage: typically 1% – 3% depending on application requirements

  • Can be directly blended with virgin PET resin before extrusion or injection molding

  • Suitable for standard PET processing conditions

  • Pre-drying of PET resin is still recommended for optimal performance

Storage & Handling

Store in a dry, cool environment to prevent moisture absorption. Keep packaging sealed when not in use. Follow standard industrial safety procedures during handling and processing.
